Santa Ana, Calif. (September 8, 2020) – Today, the County of Orange moved from the Purple Tier to the Red Tier as a part of the Governor Newsom’s Blue Print for a Safer Economy. This allows certain business sectors to re-open immediately and businesses to expand their operations with certain restrictions. Additionally, County Health Officer Dr. Clayton Chau has issued related new Orders and Strong Recommendations, which also include seasonal flu vaccination for certain county residents and visitors. OneHB Business Support is a community campaign that will provide $5,000 micro-grants to help certain small businesses keep their doors open during and after COVID-19. The micro-grants may be used for payroll, rent/lease payments, utilities, inventory and other approved operational expenses.
This campaign is a collaboration of the City of Huntington Beach, Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, Community for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Opportunities (CIELO), and Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
Angela K. Clitherow, President/CEO of Huntington Beach City Employees Credit Union, has announced that the Department of Business Oversight has approved their field of membership to include those who live, work, worship or go to school in Huntington Beach, as well as the name change to Huntington Beach Credit Union.
